Your Cleaver sends a goblin clear off his feet, landing in a pile of his buddies. They miscalculated your massive strength, and are reeling backwards on the retreat. So much for supposed alliances. They have learned too late that betraying an Orc of the Black Water would mean death. It’s too bad they won’t be able to share the word with their kin.

You adjust your axe, letting out a battle cry of rage as another goblin aims for your ankles. This one goes flying another fifteen paces.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Cleaver is a nasty looking two-handed war-axe with a 33 cm long head that ends in curved spikes. The blade is attached to the 70 cm haft with sculpted metal hinges. The haft is detailed to give it a rough and worn look, while letting you retain an excellent grip in combat. It ends in a coreless metal knob.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• First hafted axe was created about 6,000 B.C. using birch-tar and raw-hide lashings to fix the blade to its handle
• Many battle axes doubled as tools and were cheaper to make than swords
