The long road from the Wizard’s Castle is treacherous and harsh, but as you pick your way over rock and through tangling vines with the help of your Braced Staff, you do not seem to care. There is a lot on your mind.

The Wizard has just told you that you are gifted with magic. With enough training you might become as strong a magic-user as the greatest in your land. You had always thought yourself a simple carpenter! And now you return home, uncertain of your decision.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Braced Staff is a 190 cm latex quarterstaff with heavy metal braces at each end. Each iron brace is about 40 cm long, with sculpted studs securing them in place. The hexagonal shaped staff appears carved from dark brown wood, and is detailed with wooden textures and is handpainted to match.

Made from durable closed cell foam around a solid fibreglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can feel confident that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you want when crafting your battlefield kit.

HISTORY

• Prominently used in England in the 1500-1700s
• Generally made from hardwood and 1.8 to 2.7 m long
